1. Call 911 if you need immediate assistance in an emergency. This line will connect you with a police officer, firefighter, or paramedic as per the Toronto Police Service website: www.tps.ca/contact/9-1-1-emergency/
2. Call 416-808-2222 for non-emergency needs via Toronto Police Service.
3. Call 1-866-925-5454 or text GOOD2TALKON to 686868. This service is for post-secondary students in Ontario. You can visit their website: www.good2talk.ca
4. Call 416-408-4357 to reach the Toronto Distress Line. Website: www.dcogt.com.
They also provide multilingual services in Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. You can call 905-459-7777 to reach someone in Brampton and Mississauga.
5. Call or text 9-8-8 for Canada's Suicide Helpline via Canadian Mental Health Association if you or someone you know has suicide-related concerns. They are available 24/7. Website: www.cmha.ca/find-help/if-you-are-in-crisis
6. Call 1-800-668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868 for the Kids Help Phone (24/7 support). Their live chat is available from 7pm to 12am ET. Website: www.kidshelpphone.ca
